Terms and Conditions - The Lobby League

Eligibility

  1. This tournament is open to eligible individuals who:

    1. Register their interest in The Lobby League qualifiers.

    2. Participate in any of the esports tournaments within The Lobby League series, including but not limited to Fortnite, FC 25, and Sim Racing competitions.

  2. The Lobby League tournaments will culminate in finals events for each game title.

  3. This tournament is open to:

    1. All women 

  1. All entrants are required to provide official government identification that outlines them as a woman or proof of previous women's only tournaments they have competed in that will be validated by staff.

  2. Aged over 18 years old at start of qualifiers

  3. Resident of the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

Registration and Entry Requirements

  1. Registration of interest can be completed through the official Guild website.

  2. Participants must have access to the necessary gaming equipment and stable internet connection to participate.

Entry Period

  1. The registration period opens on 20 March 2025

  2. Tournament dates will be communicated to registered participants via email.

Tournament Structure

  1. The Lobby League will feature multiple esports titles including:

    1. Fortnite

    2. FC 25

    3. Sim Racing

    4. Other titles as announced

  2. Each title will have its own tournament structure, a tournament rulebook will be provided to all competitors upon qualification

Winner Selection and Notification

  1. Winners will be determined based on the following criteria:

    1. Performance in the tournament according to the specific rules of each game title

    2. Completion of all required matches within the tournament timeframe

    3. Compliance with all tournament rules and fair play guidelines

  2. Winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the completion of each tournament final.

  3. If winners cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond Guild’s reasonable control, then Guild reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

Prizes

  1. A total prize pool of £50,000 will be distributed across The Lobby League tournaments.

  2. Prize winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the tournament.

Tournament Conduct

  1. Participants must adhere to the specific rules of each tournament and game title. As defined in the tournament rulebook provided to players upon qualification.

  2. Participants must demonstrate good sportsmanship and respectful behavior towards other participants, organizers, and viewers.

  3. Guild reserves the right to disqualify any participant who engages in:

    1. Cheating or use of unauthorised software or hardware

    2. Abusive or offensive language or behaviour

    3. Intentional disconnection

    4. Any behaviour deemed detrimental to the tournament experience

Technical Requirements

  1. Participants are responsible for ensuring their equipment meets the minimum requirements for the games they are participating in, unless otherwise specified by Guild.

  2. Guild does not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay participation in the tournaments.

Data Protection

  1. Any entrant data collected will be used for the purpose of administering the tournament and contacting the winners to notify them of prizes.

  2. If you are a winner of the tournament, you agree that Guild may use your first name, surname, county, age, image, gamer tag and gameplay footage for post-event publicity purposes without additional remuneration. The tournament will be referenced and endorsed in our paid social and influencer posts. You can object to this publication or ask for less information to be published or made available by contacting us through the "Contact us" link on the website. If you object, this will not affect your participation in the competition, but we may still be required to provide information to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Streaming and Content Creation

  1. Participants grant Guild the right to broadcast, record, and use their gameplay footage for promotional purposes.

  2. Participants are permitted to stream their own gameplay during qualifiers, but not for finals. 

General

  1. Guild does not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

  2. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, Guild and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from the enjoyment of the prize; and/or any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize beyond Guild’s control; and for any act or default of any third party supplier.

  3. The terms and conditions of any other third-party supplier associated with the tournament will also apply to the prize where applicable. If there is a conflict between third party terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these shall take precedence.

  4. Guild will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond Guild's reasonable control.

  5. Guild's decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.

  6. Guild may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards Guild, other entrants or staff which Guild reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified, Guild reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

  7. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this tournament.

  8. This tournament, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this tournament.
