Guild fortifies its squad with raft of impressive hires

Guild Esports PLC, a global teams organisation and lifestyle brand, has strengthened its senior leadership team with a raft of impressive hires.

Clare Jarvis has been announced as chief financial officer and company secretary, with effect from February 27, 2023. Jarvis previously served as senior director of finance for the UK and Canada at Audible, the Amazon-owned audio entertainment brand.

Matthew 'Charlie' Charles, an experienced executive with more than 17 years of experience in high-growth sports technology, production and media businesses, has been appointed as the director of operations, effective from March 1, 2023. He brings C-Suite experience from serving as interim chief operating officer at Wavze and chief operating officer of Oz Sports Inc.

Alun Vaughan has been appointed as senior communications manager effective from March 6, 2023. Vaughan previously served as senior corporate communications Officer at FIFA, communications manager at the European Club Association (ECA), and international relations manager at The Football Association (The FA).

Commenting on the hires, Guild Esports chief executive Jasmine Skee said:
