GUILD LAUNCHes SKY CITY FORTNITE MAP

Guild has announced a new Sky City Fortnite map and Speed Showdown creator tournament in partnership with Sky Broadband.

This map was developed by Guild through its creative and production division, Guild Studios, with support from gaming studio UMI Games.

The map (code 9674-9752-3343) launches alongside Speed Showdown, a series of livestream events which allow players to battle alongside their favourite creators, engage in challenges and win real world prizes from Sky Broadband.

Jasmine Skee, Guild CEO, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Sky Broadband [on the Sky City Fortnite map and campaign]. With 85% of Fortnite players aged 18-35, this collaboration lets us engage with a key demographic in a new and exciting way.

“Young people spend almost double their time gaming over any other social channel. This is the new frontier of digital marketing, with active and engaged users having authentic brand experiences.

“We can’t wait to see players enjoy the many unique elements we’ve weaved into the map and to be part of a project that connects and entertains.”

Sunny Bhurji, Sky Connectivity’s Marketing Director, said: “I’m super excited about the launch of Sky City and the Speed Showdown activation as it once again demonstrates how Sky Broadband is essential to its gaming customers.

“It’s a first-of-its-kind tournament that really brings streamers and their audiences together and is all powered by Sky Broadband. I can’t wait to see the players in our Sky City map created in Fortnite.”
