In the world of FIFA the football week is more “When Wednesday Comes” than Saturday… At 6pm each week on everyone else’s hump day, FIFA gamers are waiting to see whose rating has bounced the best in the Team of the Week rankings. We recommended a series whereby two talents would present snackable content looking at the week of football action in the real world before announcing the players who had made the cut.
The Activity
Iain Chambers and TN were joined by some of the biggest influencers in gaming and lifestyle to discuss the week’s updates while drumming up excitement for the announcement.
The two weekly guests input on the discussion PLUS one member of the public was given the chance to take on TN at FIFA, with a brand new Samsung TV up for grabs!
In addition the audience could see how the Guild team was fairing each week in the FIFA Global Series, with regular cameos from our pros, Nico and Davide.
The Results
From October through to February, Samsung partnered with Guild’s content series Squad Goals to bring our audiences closer to the football world through TOTW reveals
Consisted of a 7 episode series across Nov/Dec and Jan/Feb broadcasting live from the Guild HQ on Wednesdays at 5pm, focussed around the weekly reveal of the world’s top rated FIFA players
Guild talent Iain Chambers and TN25 hosted the show delivering first class football knowledge
Each episode had either 2 or 3 external talent members present, ranging from professional athletes to gamers and pro footballers!
The campaign amassed an impressive 10 million total social impressions and 300,000 social engagements.
